Pilgrim Software Retains Its Place on List of Fastest Growing Companies

Company provides software to help maintain regulatory requirements in the medtech industry.

Pilgrim Software Inc. has been named to the 2012 Inc. 5000 list compiled by Inc. Magazine for the third consecutive year and the fourth time since the award’s inception in 2007. Pilgrim software provides enterprise risk, compliance and quality management software solutions to a variety of industries, including medical.

Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list is comprised of the most entrepreneurial, fastest growing privately held companies in the United States. The companies are chosen based on revenue growth from 2008 through 2011. Pilgrim is one of only a few companies that has made the list several times.

“Earning this recognition for three straight years is a real testament to Pilgrim Software’s continuous commitment to delivering superior solutions and reflects our good fortune at having customers embrace our solutions,” said Pilgrim’s CEO Thierry Durand.

The company’s three-year growth has been 30 percent. Its revenue in 2008 was $16.4 million, and it managed to bring in $21.3 million in revenue in 2011. Pilgrim also has a total of approximately 120 employees, with 23 of those jobs added in the past three years.

Founded in 1993, Tampa, Fla.-based Pilgrim helps organizations manage industry and regulatory compliance, address potential risks, reduce manufacturing costs and improve customer satisfaction through its integrated platform. The company is part of the portfolio of Boston, Mass.-based private equity firm Riverside Partners LLC.

Pilgrim offers software to the medical device industry that is designed to ensure product safety and enterprise-wide compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standard operating procedures, and industry best practices.
